Attendees will learn how they can accelerate their growth beyond their day job by: - Speaking at conferences and internal events - Staying active on social media and technical platforms - Using community hubs and forums - Building a professional network from day one - Taking part in mainframe content creation - Engaging in student outreach This session will explain why visibility and participation matter for personal growth and the long term sustainability of the mainframe industry, and will introduce recognition programmes such as IBM Champion, TechChannel Rising Star and Planet Mainframe Influential Mainframers as achievable career goals.
