Still using ISPF? Explore a simplified approach to some of the everyday ISPF tasks using tools provided by IBM File Manager for z/OS. In part 1 we will look at cloning or copying one or more data sets and the use of IBM File Manager's reference lists as a notebook to remember data sets and use point and shoot like navigation to invoke common activities , like editing, ISPF 3.4, creating, copying, viewing load module information and exploiting the PDSE version 2 capabilities.
I had 28 very enjoyable years working in z/OS system software development at IBM. Since joining HCL Software in 2017 I have worked in z/OS lab services and had the pleasure of helping z/OS customers with implementation, training and usage of IBM software products.
