IBM GDPS has been the byword in top tier resiliency for more than 25 years. But it’s always required a z/OS LPAR to run the GDPS controlling systems making unsuitable for clients using only LinuxONE, or having LinuxONE environments separate to their IBM Z environments. Come along and learn about how that’s changing and opening up new resileincy opportunity for LinuxONE clients.
Steven is a software engineer and team lead on the GDPS development team. Steven has been an IT client, services provider, support engineer, client advocate, and software developer. Steven has worked to improve system availability and resiliency across the z/OS, Linux, Unix, and Windows platforms for decades.
