Let’s Talk About Unsupported Software

(6L)

Stream: Virtual Room 6
Time: 15:00 - 15:45

Presentation

It’s best practice to always have supported software. But why, and does everyone really do this? In this session, David Stephens explores software support: what you get, the reasons to keep software support, and if unsupported software is really as bad as it seems. David will share what he sees in the field: who has unsupported software, why they do it, how you find unsupported software, and recommendations he makes to his clients. Come and see an independent view of the mainframe world and how it approaches software support.
