Hitachi Vantara has designed the VSP One Block High-End to answer all these customer challenges. SVA has tested this storage before it was generally available to customers and will share their experience.
started my career with Mainframe 40+ years ago at IBM as MVS support. working with Hitachi since 1987 at various positions and involved with different projects over the time.
Dennis Seiffert is an experienced IT professional in the field of enterprise infrastructure, with a strong focus on storage and data platforms. With more than 19 years of hands-on experience working with Hitachi hardware, he is regarded as a trusted expert for high-performance and highly available storage solutions in enterprise environments. He works as a System Engineer and Technical Lead for Hitachi Vantara solutions at SVA System Vertrieb Alexander GmbH in the Rhine-Main area of Germany. In this role, he supports complex customer projects from architectural design through implementation to final production rollout. He combines deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of operational requirements in modern data centers. Throughout his career, Dennis has led and delivered numerous large-scale installations and optimized existing environments, particularly on Hitachi VSP platform. His long-term specialization in Hitachi technologies makes him a valued advisor for both customers and technology partners. Beyond his project work, he regularly shares insights, best practices, and real-world experience within his professional network, actively contributing to the storage and infrastructure community.
