z/OS provides us with a wealth of performance and capacity data. But looking at this data in different ways can give us new insights that are not immediately apparent. We’ll look at some z/OS data and explore different ways of enriching our interpretation of the information.
John Ticic started as a mainframe systems programmer in 1984 and has maintained, tuned, and upgraded a large number of MVS-based systems. John has extensive experience in planning and implementing large XRC and GDPS/PPRC installations. Furthermore, he developed many performance analysis tools (e.g. for STK/SUN VSM analysis). He has been working with IntelliMagic since 2008 and has been dedicated to interacting with European customers and prospects helping with performance issues. He also helps software development designing enhancements of the products in the z/OS Disk, z/OS Tape and z/OS Systems areas. John joined IBM in July of 2024.
