This session explores the fundamental concepts behind certificate management and presents practical strategies and best practices to simplify the process. We will also introduce a new tool designed to streamline the initial certificate setup experience during mainframe software installation, reducing friction and accelerating time to value.
Jan is an experienced Product Owner at Broadcom responsible for making the Broadcom products configuration process smoother. He has long experience in software development in the telecommunication industry and now he is trying to combine his experience and mainframe complexity to bring new ideas.
Chip Mason has over 25 years of experience in the software industry. Chip is ia Sr Product Manager in Mainframe Security at Broadcom. Chip works deliver Mainframe Security solutions, as well as acting as a subject matter expert assisting customers to ensure security and compliance. Chip is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). Chip resides in Raleigh, NC where he enjoys his family and photography.
