Let's Talk (Talking) Tech

(4O)

Stream: Virtual Room 4
Time: 11:15 - 12:00

Presentation

Let’s be honest: you sit through a lot of technical education sessions. (Depending upon where this session lands on the agenda, that may well be “just this week.”) And let’s be fair – there are fantastic odds that you (yes, you!) know something about the ecosystem that no one else knows. We need _your_ stories at these events, now more than ever! So how does one tell that story in front of an audience, anyway? This session drills down on the techniques that Brian has used in the ~20 years of public speaking he’s done and tries to lay them out, roadmap style, to get you (yes, you!) from “idea” to “any questions?”

Speakers

  • Brian Hugenbruch at IBM USA
  • Brian Hugenbruch, CISSP has been a developer for IBM z/VM for the past twenty-five years, which means he really can't be "the new kid" anymore. He has served as z/VM's Security and Cryptography Product Owner for fifteen years. He has spoken in hundreds of venues on the topics of identity management, security, cryptography, TLS, auditing, certifications, compliance, and resiliency. No, he's not certain how to say his last name either.
