Modern Git workflows make it possible to manage multiple versions of your source code in parallel, while artifact repositories such as JFrog Artifactory or the GitLab Package Registry give you the flexibility to store and maintain many versions of your build outputs. Together with the deployment management solution IBM Wazi Deploy, these practices enable teams to think in terms of complete application versions—tested, approved, and deployed in a controlled way that reduces reliance on individual expertise and is forming a strong foundation for a mature DevOps pipeline. In this session, we'll explore effective ways to structure your artifact repositories, including how to clearly separate intermediate build artifacts from final release packages, and maintain a reliable deployment configuration. We'll also walk through a practical release and deployment process that helps you roll out changes safely and consistently.
