Security is a major concern: After all, where valuable data can be found, hackers will try to investigate, infiltrate, extract, and extort said data. This session imagines that a z16 system was attacked, and a number of suspected assailants are brought in for a police line-up, where the audience have to work with the ‘detective’ (presenter) to solve this “Hacking Whodunnit”. Different hackers may break into systems with different motives, not always doing so for malicious reasons. Some threats may be a cliché lone-wolf, while others Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs). The threat may even be a colleague, intentionally or because of blackmail. - But whatever the source, it’s up to us to work out who is responsible for any dastardly crime… Ultimately, regardless who attempts to hack into our system, we need to be aware and prepared!
