About the Conference

Planning for the 2016 conference is now close to completion; we will return to the Whittlebury Hall Hotel once again for two days of intensive information across a broad range of topics.

As in the last few years we will be featuring some hands-on workshops, in both multi-session and short "drop in" formats. The agenda is still being finalised so please check back from time to time to see updates.

Call for Papers

Our call for papers was sent out to all interested parties in our distribution lists. A copy is available to view and/or download here.

We look forward to meeting you at the 2016 GSE Working Groups' Conference which will take place at the Whittlebury Hall Hotel on November 1st and 2nd 2016. The Agenda

The agenda for the 2016 conference is now complete though of course there may be minor changes as we approach the day of the conference.

Any changes made after the weekend before the conference will be announced through the My GSE message service.

Agenda highlights

As mentioned above the agenda is still being finalised, although most streams are complete or close to completion and can be viewed on the agenda page. Our plans include ;-

  • A large number of technical streams including all the usual mainframe technologies plus
    • zCMPA (Capacity Management & Performance Analysis)
    • New Technologies
    • 101, the stream for newcomers or recent-comers to z
  • Our opening keynote presentation, to be given this year by Ashok Reddy who is the General Manager responsible for CA's Mainframe Solutions Business Unit. His subject linking to our theme, is Mission Essential in a World of Agile and LeanGeneral Manager, CA Mainframe Solutions Business Uni
